The last lie I told was pretty bad. Since I've been in college, its harder and harder to hear the professors. I fixed this problem in high school by sitting up front at all times, but my hearing has gotten worse since then.
I went to my campus' disability services office to see what I could do to help me. Of course, we were in close proximity in her office, so I could hear her okay. So she didn't believe me when I said that I had hearing loss. Then she wanted to know how I solved the problem in high school. I knew if I just said that I said that I sat upfront all the time, she'd just tell me to keep doing that (which I do anyways but its still hard to hear) and that I wouldn't get any help.
So I lied and told her that I had a note-taker in high school when she asked. Don't judge me, I was desperate. :(
I'm deaf in my left ear. When I was growing up, my mom didn't believe me when I said I didn't hear her call me from outside. Even after the school said that I was, my stepdad kept saying that it was 'selective' hearing, that I was lying. It's a shitty thing to be discriminated for and I would've lied too if I thought it would help. I'm glad it worked for you. Don't feel bad about it, you did what was best at the time.
Err, 2 days ago. Recently my headphones died and I had to get new ones or else my soul would start to rot due to lack of music. I was going to go for closed-ear types cause all headphones I ever had were those types. But the whole world and their mums said open-ear had the best sound-experience. I figured, okay, I may as well see what the fuss is about before I settle on a pair to last me the next 2-3 years.
I ordered one of each types from amazon, with the intention of trying both and returning whichever I didn't like. Thank goodness I chose to order both because open-ear are heavenly sounding. So two days ago when I went to file the return to Amazon the webpage asked me for the reason for the return and and and... I lied "They were defective" so they wouldn't charge me for return shipping!

Probably any time in the last few weeks I've said anything along the lines of not hating a certain client and her disgusting treatment of me.
My girlfriend and I recently split. Were still friends and she still cares about me. She asked me if I was doing okay, I told her yes so she wouldn't have to worry, but I'm devastated. Good thing my Skype camera wasn't on.
This morning I told the veterinarian clinic my car wouldn't start.
I actually just cancelled because its too freaking cold to go out and take my cat!(hes not sick its a check up).
Will reschedule when its not MINUS degrees .

I have actually been living a lie with my best friend and housemate for the last few months. Her partner has made a few passes at me and I haven't told her as it would devastate her.
I hate lying to her (I told him it would NEVER happen for so many reasons)
This is one of few reasons why I am moving out of here and moving back down south.

I lied to my doctor two days ago, bad howie. I told her I was taking the vitamins that I really haven't been taking.

Whew, glad I did that, because I would've felt honour bound to learn how to take a selfie and I can't be bothered with that at the moment.
