That doesn't mean much. If you go to russia or a muslim country, most -if not all- men will say that they are not gay or bisexual, but that doesn't mean there are actually less bisexuals than here.
Most guys I met are actually quite open about their sexuality, and I know much more bisexual guys than girls. Depends on the people you surround yourself with.Comment Hidden ( show )

What Moomus said, I think it is purely a societal thing. If we go back in history we see a large amount of men engaging in homosexuality aswell as heterosexuality, more so than women.
Society is awkward in how it glorifies lesbianism as "sexy" (I feel the opposite about it, but meh), where as male homosexuality is "disgusting".
Males are shamed for homosexual acts more than females, by far.
I would be willing to bet that if we take away all of how society treats men and women engaging in homosexuality, we'd see a large increase in men engaging in homosexuality after a while, if not more than women.

It's because a man doesn't always know how to treat a woman, whereas a woman knows where a another woman is coming from and that kind of intimacy contributes to their bisexuality.

But on the side of that, women tend to not get along with other women most of the time either. I certainly will not deny my favor of men over women. Men may not connect emotionally the way a woman do but a woman can be the devil if you cross her the wrong way. She can do a lot of damage with words, and a number of men have gone as far as taking their own lives due to feeling emasculated by a woman.

Well I have heard this explanation for it. Not my theory by the way. Men are hairy and smelly and women are soft, hairless and beautiful. So it would be easier for a girl to switch to women than a man to switch to another man. Unless the man is really gay.

Well, you say it's because men are hairy and smelly while women are soft, hairless and beautiful but I happen to find men to be the fairer sex. What you stated there is all opinion based. Women in society have been deemed as the fairer sex so everyone kind of looks at women as the "beautiful" sex because they've been put on that pedestal but I have definitely seen my fair share of beautiful men and, from my point of view, an attractive woman can not hold a candle to a attractive men. I've also seen my fair share of smelly, hairy women. So no. I doubt that is the reason because it's all in the eye of the beholder.

Again its not MY theory. This is a theory someone else told me. I offered it since I really don't have an opinion on the matter. It seemed some what reasonable considering all the men I know Smell, never shave, run around in tanks where you see there big hairy pits, and for the ones who get facial hair they don't clean it up or ever shave.
So yeah the men I know are big, hairy, smelly and dress like slobs. Most of the women I know are soft, pretty, clean and this have been every school I went to. Since I moved a lot I went to about 9 before I graduated. I am not talking about university by the way that I graduated either.
As well as the teacher always complaining about the bathrooms being covered in piss and shit in the urinal and spread on the walls. So yeah I shocked we don't have more gay women. Men are not Hygienic at ALL! In fact my mother would always ask "Why do all your friends smell"? and she only complained when the men would come over since the women bathed. This was before I graduated school.
Also male professional athletes don't shave either if you ever seen a basketball player lift his arms. Which women do complain about. In school when I did go to it the Boy bathrooms were locked down for a short time for the men since the teachers said they didn't want to clean up the shit and piss.
So yeah I don't see how women can actually tolerate being with a man at all. Even if it was a straight woman. Considering how clean and proper women are I don't see how any of them still want men at all.
I only knew one woman that wasn't clean and she didn't have very many friends. It kind of disgusted me too since she had rotten looking teeth and when I asked "What toothpaste do you use" since I didn't want to say "Do you brush" she said "Oh I never brush my teeth". I really have nothing against bad teeth since some people have broken, fake, crooked teeth but your teeth should never be BROWN.
Also based on my experience men are pigs and women are clean. So I think usually clean is going to be preferable to smelling like a skunk. finding a clean man seems incredibly rare.

Yes I am clean. Yet none of the men who went to my schools ever were. I figured this was normal for guys though. Guys smell like a trash can and girls smell like a danty flower. The school had scolded the boys on more than one occasion about the state of the boys room was in. By the way the person who had this theory was a male.

Isn't it obvious? You even mention the word gay to a guy and it becomes a pissing contest to see who's sexuality is more solidly straight. Men are petrified of the idea of being gay, its utterly retarded really.
Its because ever since they're young it's a challenge to see who's best, who's got bigger balls, harder dick, stronger testosterone. Have you never seen little boys fight and tease and wrestle? They're more competitive than girls and when they get older, who's the bigger man becomes equal to who gets more pussy in their mind. Gay men aren't in this piss fight. They sit in the corner 'no one wants to be in'. That's why you don't get bi guys. Because its frowned upon in that culture. Even if LGBT is on the rise. That mentality starts young and it will stay there for a long time.

There have been studies that show that women's sexuality is more fluid, HOWEVER they dont say why.
I think its because so many men watch lesbian porn, they think womanXwoman is hot but still want the women to be interested in them, making them more open to bi women and therefore making it more acceptable for women to experiment.
Also, most of the media is controlled by men, who view women as superior in appearence (more attractive than men), a lot of women realize this, and the fact that women are seen as more attractive makes more people open to the idea of bi women, thinking they're bi bc of their realization about the attractiveness of other women.

In my simple theory, I assume they are "bi" because girls drank breast milk from their mothers. So they feel a stronger connecting between women, because they are also women. Let's say a father can breast feed their son, (hypothetically of course) this would change the world as we know it. No more "you're a fag" and slurs would be used, because, almost everyone has done it! (Oh this is not a valid point, just a silly thought!)
