Is it normal to wonder how badly decomposed certain people's bodies are?

I'm constantly looking up and thinking about how badly decomposed my deceased relatives and famous people's bodies are. If you told me that your aunt has been dead for 3 years, my first thought is, "how badly decomposed is her body?" I'm also wondering what Abraham Lincoln looks like now since he's been dead since 1865. I also wonder about Ronald Reagan and JFK's bodies. I like to took up body exhumations and view the decomposed corpse. Is it normal to think about this every day or close to it?

In my opinion it's normal. Decay over time is an interesting subject. I think Abraham Lincoln is mostly just bones now though.

It's a thought that crosses my mind occasionally but I don't dwell on it. Not really how I want to think of my dead relatives.

Typically though it takes years (perhaps even decades) for a body to "fully" decompose down to a skeleton.
