Is it normal to wear only underwear in front of family members?

During summer days I wear underwear a lot at home . My class starts at 11 a.m. I wear underwear after bath and do my breakfast or other tasks and put on my dress before I leave for college . I do the same after back in home. I remove my clothes and wear underwear till evening.
I wear brief underwear. Well my best freind suggested me to wear atleast boxerbriefs. But i hate boxer or boxer briefs. Briefs are comfortable for me.
I dont think my mom or brother will mind.
My freind told me that this is disrespectful!!!
But this is quite normal for me.

    You should make sure they don't mind. My dad used to walk around the house in his briefs and we all hated it. It's fine if you're alone, but I would really ask the others in the house how they feel if I were you.

        That sentence wasn't very clear to me. The OP could have been saying 'put on their dress' as in getting dressed. So that is why I asked.

          absolutely. i think they are from across the ocean. i have read "put on my dress" in more than one post, as opposed to "i got dressed". boxer briefs? who says "boxer briefs" in america? its just boxers. I think the OP is a guy.

    My dad used to wear only a shirt, as it no pants. Im glad they were long shirts, at least :(
