Is it normal to want to shave my head & go grey just to save money?

i am OCD and recently i managed to pay off $ 12,000 worth of credit card debt. i did it by basically spending nothing and moving back in with my parents and really restricting myself to necessities only. i had to weigh my options on whether i wanted to do birth control to save on the cost of tampons but tampons won out because they were the cheaper option for me. i even went so far as to ration how much toilet paper i used and i gave up cosmetics and hair products etc. (i used laundry soap to clean my clothes and my body and face and hair). i am now debt free, but i am afraid of having money issues again, so i am thinking of shaving my head and allowing the grey hair to grow in and getting botox in sweaty areas so that i can give up using the soap for my body and hair (which i won't have, if i shave it).

is this normal?

This will set you back $1,000 for two armpits.

Sounds like you won't need any birth control if you do as you are suggesting.

Going grey or shaving your head isn't a big deal and plenty of women do it, but I wouldn't recommend doing it simply to save money (instead of for style preference). You might regret cutting all your hair off after the fact, though you can always dye your hair back if you decide grey isn't for you, so that's worth trying.
Also, remember, now that you don't have any more debt to pay off, you can afford to spend a little more on enjoyable things beyond necessity, as long as you stay in your budget and spend carefully. You are no longer burdened by debt and that it's alright to spend a few dollars a month on products like soap, shampoo, ect. that will actually benefit you, health wise, socially, probably self-esteem wise.

Here's the deal. Not dyeing your hair saves TONS of money. So good idea, only it's hard to decide if you temporarily want two-tones grow-out hair or a shaved head.
However, it is NOT a good idea to forgo soap and deodorant. You need to be clean and healthy.
