Is it normal to want to hit people at a concert?

So this hasn't ever happened to me before and I've been at tons of shows, venues and festivals alike. And I went to see skrillex last night with my girl and we were in the middle of the crowd. In the thick of it dancing. And of course, its a huge show and a killer DJ, people are gonna squish each other, I'm used to shit like that, it is something you gotta deal with If u wanna be close to the Front at a big show like that. But this mother fucking guy and woman behind me weren't even facing the front or dancing with each other, they just kept pushing as hard as they could toward us while facing the other way. I could see past them and no one was down or anything. And the guy next to me yells in my ear, I'll take them with you if you wanna get rid of them. I just laughed. Then after about 15 min of this crap and yelling at them to stop, I decided to throw a few discrete elbows while jumping andknocked him down and he stumbled out with the woman. Oblivious disrespectful drunk people are one of my major pet peeves. Idk what the hell those two thought they were doing but it was ruining the show for everyone around them. I don't think I got him in the face or temple, just that spot between his shoulder and neck. So he's fine. I still feel like I should have broken his nose, but he was facing the other way almost the whole time.

It wasn't a mosh pit tho. When u enter a pit or are on the edge of one u run the risk of injury just by being there. That's a given. And skrillex was fun. Had a good time dancing and drinking and shit. Idgaf what u guys say, he is a talented musician. He is like Maynard, but a DJ lol

I've been in many moshpits where people push from the back and you get squished, could it be possible that it wasn't the person directly behind you but the forward thrusting of the crowd as a whole? It's not great for the claustrophobic and I know people who have suffered broken ribs from it, being pushed up against the front railing.

Skrillex is good, but FFTL was better. Damn you, Sonny Moore! Go back!
    =P

Also, yes it's normal to hate drunken idiots.

    (To the rest of you.)
IT'S ALSO NORMAL TO LIKE SKRILLEX, WHETHER OR NOT ANYBODY AGREES WITH OP'S TASTE.
Some people like Skrillex. Get over it.

Yeah, every single show has plenty of assholes who only care about their own good time. They get caught up in the crowd and start forgetting that their actions have consequences, that other people are entitled to a good time too. Violence seems to me to be the worst possible way to get rid of those people, but any normal person would be frustrated by them.

    Normal.

I feel like this at least once at almost every concert I go to. Twats in the crowd have ruined it for me in the past.

    Skrillex though? WHY?!
