Is it normal to want sex with men but no romance, and the opposite with women?

So basically I constantly crave sex with guys but I get all weirded out if they want a long term relationship or act all romantic with me... I just want to have a sex buddy, and have sex for fun and pleasure.

With women I always want this big epic romance, that Shakespeare himself would write about, where we do super romantic cute things for each other and stay up till sunrise cuddling and having deep, romantic talks... but sex seems a little awkward.

I'm a girl.

    i think you should try sexual things with girls and see what happens. the reason you think it'd be awkward might be because most of us were raised to believe that sex has to be between a man and a woman.

    you may find yourself wanting a women more in a romantic way because you think in your mind that you will have better ground with them and be able to pull a relationship off with the same sex
