Is it normal to want change
Is it normal to want change, but not at this price?
I've been lucky. I was raised in a wonderful country called the United States of America. A place where you didn't need to lock your front door, even in a city like SF, and stranger violence was unheard of. People respected one another and there was plenty of work for all.
As the years passed, I became more and more disheartened as I watched this great country slide toward the mess it's in today. First, we (they) elected a B actor as President and he used his minimal talent to act through 8 years of very bad decisions, all the while pretending to be a hero.
After that it was only a matter of voting for the least offensive candidate as the system seemed irreparably broken.
Now we all want a change. But at what cost? Complete alienation from the rest of the world? Economic collapse and a complete loss of national dignity? Increased terrorist threats spurred on by an insane mouth that's not under control of it's owner. Someone who obviously thinks it's smart to poke a sleeping lion. Yeah, Donald, it's a really good idea to thumb your nose at a group like IS, especially when their main areas of attention seem to be the Middle East and Europe right now. Yeah, Donny, make em mad, good plan.
Is change worth putting a belligerent buffoon in the White House? Shouldn't we wait for or better yet, build the right person for the job? It's our god damned country, let's fix it!
Come on people, this has gone far enough. In this case it is certainly prudent to go with the devil you know, than an unknown entity that could easily push us into an apocalypse? Donald Trump does not have the self control NOT to push the nuclear button, if it came right down to it.
Be afraid people, be very afraid.
