I am a 20 year old girl and I really like it when women in their 30s or 40s like me as a friend. It's so flattering for some reason. Not sure why this is. I feel like there is probably some really interesting psychological reason behind it.
I go through the same here.. How is your relationship with your mum? Sometimes people search for what they don't have.. I mean if your mum isn't that mature or has some problems, maybe this is a reason why you want to communicate with older women.(I have read this on a book) My mum drinks a lot and sometimes she becomes another person very immature, and I've been always want to keep in touch with older women. I have thought I am a lesbian too but I think I must go to a psychologist and find out ! :)
Yeah, I thought this might have something to do with my mom. But I also think it has to do with my childhood. I got bullied as a child (by my peers) and I think that maybe I like much older women is because they are less likely to make fun of me if I do something weird. They might even find my weirdness "cute".
Think about it this way. If I am hanging out with a 20 year old girl and I do something or say something weird, she might be like "wtf, Sam is a freak." but if I act weird around a much older woman, she might find it endearing.
Idk maybe I don't know what I am talking about.
May be you like them for their experience and conversations? Most young people are shallow.
Yes, it happens when you get sick of stupid teens and try to find more mature people to communicate with.
