Is it normal to wanna be with a guy even though i see him with other girls

So I like this guy and I think he likes me too. We have been texting for a while and I really like him but i see him talking and hugging other girls and my friends tell me not to talk to him because he's a player and talks to a lot of other girls, but I can't help the way I feel. So idk what to do should I keep talking to him or listen to my friends?

    If he's single, he can talk to anyone he likes. It's how he acts when he's in a relationship with you that counts. You can't judge that on how he acts when single.

    Mmm... he is single, but if he liked you the same you like him, he would not do this things, or talk to others. I think you should keep talking to him, but talk with another guys too, as he talk with another girls.
