As long as no one is waiting and you're not in there for hours, I see no problem.

Oddly enough, you may get people who tell you not to, but almost EVERYONE used it for one reason or another; especially those moms with toddlers who cry a lot, they use it for space to assist their child and privacy due to all the crying.

This is normal and a good idea, though it seems to trigger some moral high-handedness from IIN.

But if you're unsure, go ahead and follow the rules, squeeze between those two guys at the urinals, ignore the stickiness on your shoes and take comfort that you are doing what's right.

After all, imagine how awkward it would be if someone with crutches came in, say Tiny Tim, and he had to wait while you stole what was justly his.

The key to a better life: break the rules, not the laws.

I've used it before and it's helped me to poop a mile in someone else's shoes

Yup, as I've said before I use the disabled toilets, for quite a few reasons. It's more private, people can't see or hear me in there, it's typically cleaner than going in the communal bathrooms.

I have the right to piss and/or shit in private and in a hygienic setting. So sorry for exercising that right.

And yes, there is also the size element. Typically when I go out, I have a bag with me and perhaps carry my jacket if it's warm. I need to put that down somewhere when I go toilet, and if the stalls in the communal mens' toilets don't have handles to hang stuff on, I'm fucked. I'm not putting my stuff on the dirty floor, typically soaked from piss.

I'd draw the line at making disabled people wait, they ARE still disabled toilets after all and I wouldn't push anyone out the way to use them... but then also like I've said before, most people aren't disabled, so 99.999999% of the time the disabled toilet is empty or at least there's no queue for it. But even if you have the incredibly unlikely coincidence that a disabled decided they wanted to go while you were in there (for your 2-3 mins tops), would it kill them? No.

Also I'm not transgender so I'm not going to use this argument for myself. However, in the age where people are petty enough to argue about where transgender people "should" go to the toilet, I think disabled toilets offer a big advantage to them.

Just for the extra room? No. If no others are available? Sure. If you would have to wait becos you didn't use it why shouldn't a handicapped person have to wait becos your using it? Unless you plan to be in there for more than 5 minutes I can't see the problem. And this is especially true for womens restrooms at public places where a large number of ppl all go to the restroom at the same time. Why slow down the line when theres a perfectly good handicapped stall sitting empty?

It's fine as long as no one handicap isn't waiting and you're quick!

If your weight causes a disability than i see no problem in using it but if you have no disability or immobility issues due to your weight than you should use another bathroom stall just my opinion.

I always say there could be someone worst off than me needing to use the handicap bathroom stall plus i have a cousin whose got cerebral palsy so i have mixed feelings.

I got mixed feelings and i got mental health
disabilities so if someone comes in the restroom
and they are physically disabled i would give the
stall to them and use another one. Sometimes that may
be the only stall open and you need to go bad than
        i see no problem.

It's NOT ok! That extra room is because people with mobility disabilities need it: how much room do you need for a piss or a shit? Presumably your toilet (and I mean toilet, not "bathroom") at home is either in the actual bathroom (by which I mean bathroom, not toilet) or in a normal sized toilet room: if you don't need extra room there why do you need it in public toilets?

Stay out of there and have some consideration for people less fortunate than you are
