Is it normal to turn on the shower or the sink when you go to the bathroom

Whenever I go to the bathroom I turn on the sink or shower so no one hears me...does anyone else do that?

My ex boyfriend did this. He also had ocd & would turn the water on & stand there and think. So you never knew if he was shitting or thinking. Lol

You should not. It's wasting water and it doesn't fool anyone. You're not going to the bathroom to play croquet or write poetry, you're going there to sh*t or piss.

Never heard of anyone do this before, but you should stop because it's wasting water. It's embarrassing when people hear you but just realize that everybody poops ;)

Very normal. Wish I could do the same in a public toilet but I've found that flushing while going works as well. I don't do this at home

Plenty of people I know do that. I personally don't because I am a a pretty good level of comfort with my wife. Most people I know do something to drown the noise out. You're not alone.
