Is it normal to think we could have a native american president?

Now that Blacks and women have been accepted as viable candidates for the US presidency, is it normal to think that a Native American might not be far behind? What might such a candidate bring to the table that would induce us to vote for him/her?

I thought they were all wiped out by the early settlers. If not, we need to hurry up and finish the job.

We could, but why would we want to?

I believe it is a constitutional requirement that a president be a native American. Otherwise we'd be having a terminator for president next year.

You're sort of right. They have to be born American, which in the the US means born in the US, instead of any place else including other American countries.
Native American can mean other things but most commonly in the US it refers to the indigenous peoples who populated this country before the European explorers "discovered" it. The people who are commonly referred to as "Indians", although they really aren't Indians because Indians come from India.
We sure have a lot of words that don't mean what they say.
Anyway, I was just ruminating about the likelihood of someday having somebody like "Sitting Elk" from the Sioux Nation, or "Geronimo the Fourth" from the Apache Nation. Could such a person be a serious contender.

Please list for me "other American countries." as I'm too stupid to know of any.

North America is comprised of 3 countries: Canada, US, and Mexico. Central America is comprised of seven, and South America has 13. I'm not going to list all of them.
Growing up in the US culture and educational system we naively and arrogantly believe that WE are the "Americans", and that the people in the other 22 countries in the Americas are not.
All of these are American countries and all their inhabitants are Americans, but we US Americans like to think that we are so special that we are the only ones. We are not!

Please to tell again what is the name of this country signified by the letters USA? Is there any other country with the A in it's name, signifying which continent it is on? Canada has many A's for sure (you betcha) but not one refers to which continent it is on. Mexico, on the other hand has no A's at all, not one.
Central America is comprised of seven, and South America has 13. I'm not going to list all of them, but I'll bet not one of them is called America in common usage.
By the way, your geography of the AMERICAS is surprisingly good.

You're right. USA means United States of America. We're both intelligent people. I don't want to split hairs with you in a verbal game of chess. I'm just curious to know what people think about the potential for having a presidential candidate descended from what we in the USA commonly refer to as American Indians.
