People who need drugs to come up with good art/music must be fucking retarded normies with no imagination at all
Sometimes the door to the studio is locked and the key is made of drugs.
Well, much of the greatest art and music in history was produced by drug users, so... Yeah... Whether the artists felt the drugs were necessary or not is debatable. If the people you're talking about use art/music as an excuse to abuse drugs, I can kinda see your point.
I really enjoy painting after smoking weed, it puts me in a great state of mind for it, but when it wears off or when I paint sober my talent remains..sometimes I just have to work a little harder to into that particular zone.
I bet OP's come up with a bunch of really cool pieces while stone cold sober. Let's see them, OP.
Uh yeah I think it is stupid to think you need drugs to be artistic. I am a great artist and I have never done drugs in my life and very against them. Are you sure these people need drugs to make art though or that they just enjoy drugs and it helps them become inspired? You do not need drugs to make art. I known a lot of great artist in HS whos art looked professional and they were not drug addicts.
People need drugs to relax, people need drugs to have fun, people need drugs to make art. The dependency is pathetic, but I suppose if it enhances an experience that's fine.
maybe that's true, but if normal people want to do art they can take drugs to help them
