Is it normal to think that peanut butter and jam is a match made in heaven?

I'm talking primarily in sandwich terms of course.

Oh and for Americans, I mean jam AKA "jelly".

Choose the choice than applies most to you.

Yes! The two must never part! 9
Yes! BUT I don't always mix the two. 9
'Tis good, but not particularly special in grand-scheme of sandwiches. 3
Meh; personally I can take it or leave it (indifference). 7
I would likely choose a different filling in my sarnie. 3
No, I would simply refuse to eat it. 3
I loath... "PB & J" with a fierce passion of which knows no bounds. 10

I absolutely love peanut butter and jam, my main stay in the sandwich world, do have to agree that strawberry jam is the best, but on ocassions I trade to Blueberry. And in my opinion to make it gourmet slice on a banana.

Peanut butter on warm toast with butter. All there is to it.

My dad loves PB and mayo. I love a PB&J sammich but it's gotta be strawberry jelly, I hate grape. I also love white chocolate PB, it's soooo good!

    • I agree that the jam MUST be strawberry.

Raspberry is an acceptable substitute if you have run out of strawberry... Then again I'd rather just buy two strawberry jams.
