Is it normal to think that extremly green minded people are sick in head?

Imagine thinking that people who want the earth to continue are crazy.

Yeah so sick to not want to destroy the planet we live on and the beautiful nature and its wild animals... Truly some twisted shit right there, man.

Depends on how extreme but you'll rarely see people who care about the planet doing anything really wrong for their cause. People who are extreme in protecting the economy are much worse and would do much more inhumane things than environmentalists.

These people want to help our mother earth to be cleaner and healthier. How is THAT sick in the head?

So like I don’t really have a problem with vegans since my best friend has started doing it and even tho I’m not one I do care passionately about animals and I think people who are trying to stop mining and deforestation are doing a good thing so why do people want to hurt them is it because they are mad they will lose their job? I don’t even work yet so like it matters to me but what if we don’t try to protect the world then there won’t be any jobs one day anyway.

yes but they need to under why other people think they are wrong. At work without my trainer I would have never understood and have been fired a while ago.

As others have pointed out, it depends what you mean by "extreme".

Truly extreme greens believe that we should be taking drastic, positive steps towards greatly reducing the population of humans because of the stress we're putting on every aspect of the environment. And by drastic, I mean things like mandatory birth control for everyone, and perhaps even deliberately creating pandemics with high fatality rates.

It's difficult to morally justify that - and even harder to accept that you and those you care about should volunteer to die for the greater good of humanity and the planetary ecosystem - but projections for the growth of the human population based on historic trends are pretty damn scary.

There are more than twice as many humans alive today than there were when I was born in the mid-1950s, and the rate of increase shows little sign of slowing. We're in the middle of a massive, accidental experiment to determine just how many humans can survive on this little ball of rock. The final result of the experiment is far from clear, but what is certain is that there's only a finite amount of physical resources and energy available to us.

Sounds like an ironically extreme solution to the problem.

Agree 100%. Extremely people in any belief system could use that.
