Let's forget his dark history. Pretend that he never murdered women, and he was the way he appeared in the public-which is charming, smart and intelligent. Do you think he would have made a better president of the United States than people like Bush, Obama, Clinton...?

He was aspiring to become the governor of Washington before he got caught for serial killing so it is a very real possibility.

    If you take the bad parts out of a person then yes, you have a good person. Taking the bad parts out of Ted Bundy and comparing him to the rest of the world isn't a fair comparison, matey, and it isn't really Ted Bundy anymore either. It's half a Ted Bundy.

    Depends. What were his policies and beliefs? Charming and well liked is not enough to get my vote.

    Also, what is the difference between smart and intelligent?

      I just want to add: I also based it off the interviews I watched of him; he appeared extremely intelligent; search ted bundy interview on youtube and you'll know what I mean.

        I know he was smart and well liked. I don't like republicans or democrats, so no. I wouldn't have voted for him.

      Actually, I'm not sure what his policies and beliefs were; I know he was a republican and that he did really well in school and many said he was going to be the governor of Washington so I based it off that.

      Intelligent means you are smart and take care of other people's feelings.

        Well people like this tend to be great with people socially as well as brilliant. So yes I think he had the potential of being a great politician if he would have used his powers for good and not evil. However he chose the dark path.

    Wouldn't Hitler have been better? If you ignore the negatives you end up with a charismatic genius who had a dream to make his country number one. A dream to reclaim German's former glory, etc.

    Your an idiot. Ted bundy was a sociopath. He played like he had emotions that werent there. His whole being was a lie. I get your trying to be cute. But to replace a partial 2 faced president with one with a shadow of a face. Lol.

That is exactly who the man was. If he was all that smart, he wouldn't have been caught, so easily; he was actually pretty damn stupid.
    So no, he would probably not have made a good president; he'd have been too busy molesting little girls and killing them.

      He probably wasn't extremely smart, but he was doing well in college and he would've went on to become a lawyer, the governor of Washington and most likely after that, the president of the United States.

      But I feel like if he was much more intelligent, he wouldn't be so cocky and he would have tried to control himself and he'd be more cautious. Most extremely intelligent people I've met don't think they are all that like he did. But still, he would've done better than Bush. And he would have a good chance of getting elected based on his good looks (like Pierre Truedeau) and his oral abilities.
