Perhaps you've changed. When I was a kid I I used to love George Lopez and Carlos Mencia. Now I can't stand either and they both ran out of material; stereotypes could only go so far.
As a teen, I enjoyed Brian Posehn and Zach Galifianakis. Again, they are now both so dull.
Today, in my early twenties, my favorites are Bill Hicks, Louis CK, and Jim Jefferies.
Also, don't forget that as we age and change so do the comedians. Given that most good comedy (obviously subjective) is based on real life experiences and observations, it is fair to assume that what one experiences as they age changes.
Point: people change. It is normal to acknowledge that.
