I love music so much that I'm thinking of getting a tattoo of it can you guys just tell me if it's worth actually doing because a lot of people regret there tattoos. And I didn't know what category to put it under but I tried.
I think of tattoos like this: consider a shirt with a witty saying on it. You might think that shirt is pretty cool for a week, a month or maybe even a year. However, you change over time, and so will your opinion of that shirt. Tattoos are very permanent, and I would say hold off for at least a month and then consider again.
I wouldn't want a life without music, it's the biggest thing ( aside from friends, family) in my life,
I've got a music related tattoo on my lower inner arm, I don't think I'll ever regret it, even if somehow in years time I don't listen to an aeroplane over the sea which I really don't see happening I still like the flying phonograph design and it was still a life changing album that's stayed with me for years so I guess it'd represent that time in my life, but I don't think I'll ever stop listening to that album.
Just ask yourself, can you see yourself years down the line still listening to the band or album related to the tattoo you're planning, if you can then yeah, go for it :)
Just make sure you go somewhere good, mine was really expensive because I went to a well known London tattoo parlor, nothing worse than a shitty looking tattoo, you don't want to risk it

I think a good idea with tattoos is to think about it for a year and if you still like the idea then get it. I have a few ideas I want to get that I have been thinking about for some time and many decided I didn't want after a while.
