Is it normal to think killing bugs is wrong?

I don't kill bugs or animals. I find it morally wrong. I don't kill flies, spiders, ants, cockroaches, bees, mosquitos or anything. I definitely don't kill mice or rats.

I also like all bugs and all animals. I'm not afraid of any kind of bug.

So far I haven't met anyone who feels the same. My mom also doesn't kill bugs, but she isn't as passionate as me. I don't blame people when they kill bugs because I know it's normal and most people do it. I'm happy about the way I am, I was just wondering if anyone else feels this way?

    I dont like killing bugs but I will kill fleas and mosquitoes. They are no good and so annoying!

    I suppose you're a vegetarian because if you're not, you're a hypocrite. In fact, even if you are a vegetarian, you're a hypocrite because fruits and vegetables are sprayed regularly to kill the pests -- if they weren't, there wouldn't be any fruits and vegetables. Therefore, unless you grow your own fruits and vegetables, do not fertilize them (fertilizer is made from dead animals) and do not kill the pests that eat them, then you're a hypocrite. You have some serious growing up ahead of you!

      You're telling me to grow up? You do not know me at all, you don't know anything about my life. And your logic is flawed. Killing to eat meat (which I don't by the way) is different. You have to do it for food. Most people don't kill bugs for food, they just kill them because the bug annoys them. I believe that is wrong. So back the fuck off.

    So if you had bedbugs, fleas, or mites biting the shit out of you on a daily basis, would you call an exterminator to kill them or let them suck the life out of you and possibly your neighbors by unintentionally spreading your infestation? If you say no, then there's something seriously wrong with you.

    I wonder how passionate you'd be after you contracted malaria from a mosquito or were stung by hundreds of hornets or had to amputate your foot from the flesh necrotizing after the bite from a spider. Most likely, you'd feel the same as you do now.

    Personally, I try not to kill insects too. But I absolutely cannot sleep in a room with a mosquito and feel very strongly about ensuring its death before I can fall asleep.

    I feel the same about killing them for no reason (or no reason other than annoyance). But not when they are actually harmful, or when insects you're terrified of gets into your home (in my case wasps and ants that bite). Letting them be there would just be unthinkable at that point and so is getting close up myself. Outside Id just let them be. Just because you arent scared of it doesn't mean those who do have phobias against them can just "turn it off".

    Either way you cant even live without killing something, directly or indirectly, even producing plant foods requires the killing of pests to protect the fields. Driving or even walking kills insects by accident and so on

            How I miss her big round eyes, her flat little glass. Her sweet curves and all her little quirks, that scar on her hip. My love for her burns fierce and strong. When we're reunited im gonna drive her crazy all night long :)

    You say you like all bugs and animals, but most of them probably don't like you.

    To me, insects are so far away from being human, that I don't mind if I don't react to them in the same way. Sometimes I might place my foot so I don't squash a particular insect.

    Most Buddhists and Hindus do the same, due to their belief of reincarnation.

    In Islam, however it's allowed to kill the insects and reptiles if they pose danger to you.

          Can't vote yet. I'm 17. But I supported him. Am I supposed to be ashamed of that? So many people voted for him he got elected. I'm not in the weirdo minority. And why the hell wouldn't I want to vote for him? I support women's rights, gay marriage and I'm a democrat. If you're trying to insult me, you're doing it terribly and your atrocious spelling and grammar are only undermining your argument further.
