Is it normal to think john kasich is a selfish opportunist?

If Kasich continues to the end of the republican primaries, even if he won 100% of the vote in all states, he still wouldn't have enough delegates to win.

I'm thinking he's only in it to stop Trump or Cruz from winning the nomination, in turn allowing his party to choose a candidate (He desperately wants the Republican party to choose him)

    Could be. There are a lot of very intelligent and powerful people that will do (almost?) anything to insure neither of those two get nominated.
