Is it normal to think in writing?

Like instead of having a voice as my internal monologue it's like my thoughts are written words without a voice. It's not like I'm actually visualizing words, but they're just there somehow and that's how I think

    I dont visualize words themselves, I just use a large vocabulary, similes or metaphors to illustrate a circumstance in writing.

    Different people's minds work different ways. For some people its normal to visualize mental writing as you describe.
