C'mon guys - isn't Guitar Hero just a little bit sad? Why not learn a real instrument FFS?
Is it normal to play this with this toy instead of learning a real guitar?
It's just a game IMO. If they really wanted to play a guitar or learn how to drum they'd get a real one. Do you think people who play Call of Duty and other shooting games should join the army instead? or Harvest Moon should they get a real farm instead of playing make believe?
I learned how play the game better on the DS. Do not ask me why that somehow made me learn better. After that I could go to medium on the Play station. Yeah go figure. I never wanted learn guitar. It is too common. I would rather learn something like piano. I dont think it means you can not still learn a instrument if you know how to play.
You're missing the point of Guitar Hero.
It's a game, it's meant for fun.
Should I go on a magical journey to save Hyrule and defeat Gannon for the gazillionth time because I play Zelda?
Or should I get into the organized crimeworld and shoot random people because I play GTA?
It's a game, and the point of games is to entertain.
Should I go learn sword fighting because I play Soul Calibur? Or go on a magical adventure and save the world because I play Final Fantasy?
It's a game, it's for fun. You're missing the whole point.
It's just a video game. People who play shooter games could just as easily go to a shooting range. Video games are more for escaping reality. In guitar hero, you're in a band. In Zelda, you're saving the world. In 007 games, you're someone I'd like to fuck. It's all fun and games. =)
Because it's a game.
And guitar hero has gone down the drain anyway because activision decided to completely obliterate the franchise by releasing at least six within the last few years, so you don't really have to worry about it anymore, only rock band, which I don't even know if its still going.
