Is it normal to think everyone on this website only tells their side

What I can't stand is the comments from people who don't have the whole story, but have an answer like if someone says "my boyfriend didn't cuddle with me last night," and gets.. "Dump him. He's no good, he doesn't care about you and he's probably cheating on you with your mom." They are so extreme and I hope people don't listen to crap like that.

It is like this in real life, though, and it just shows you that you can't always listen to people who think they are helping.

Of course is YOUR side of the story that's the main point of writting in here

now to stories, people just want opinions and answers for the things they are doing.
and I'm happy for this

That is why I stopped commenting, most people write their part of story and only expect approval and validation. Getting advice/look from another perspective is not what most of them actually want.

I thought that's what this site was for! Sympathy, and medical diagnosis :)

I don't think there is tons of sympathy here but I'll say I compare everyones normalness to mine and judge the question that way. People just want to be excepted and this is a good place to find out what the general public might think if you. It can be a reassuring thing. Some people use iin for questions that aren't about being normal or not and I think that's a good thing also, because it allows you to get a mass amount of perspectives

It's perfectly normal to think that because that's exactly what often happens, both here and in real-life. To be fair, each of us can only ever experience life through our own eyes and yet quite a number of us are deluded enough to think we understand the bigger picture. Even though there are nearly seven billion people living "life" and of those seven billion, we've only considered a single viewpoint.
