Is it normal to think asians are stupid?

It's ok. I'm sure any Asian person reading this would assume you were stupid, too.

Just because you say you don't mean to be racist does not mean that you are not being racist. It simply is not true that Asians are generally stupid. Look at who makes the most reliable cars. Yup you got it the Asians. Japanese cars are the world's most reliable. Look at the country that is known to be the technology capital of the world, yup Asia again, Japan to be exact. Look at which car maker is the most successful, Toyota, yup you got it an Asian car brand.

Then you have the Chinese and if you actually look at what the Chinese are doing they are improving. It is all very well to criticise the Chinese but if you back 100 years or more England was a lot like China with high pollution. England use to have air pollution so bad that it would stain the buildings black and they had rotten rubbish down the middle of roads, people also use to tip their sewage out windows in England. It was like landfill in the middle of the city which of course caused mice and rats to hang around. Germany also had its pollution problems. The Rhine River use to be a highly polluted river and the USA use to do bad things also when they dumped barrels of Nuclear waste into the sea floor.

Look at Europe that is having massive problems at the moment and the USA which has an out of control gun problem.

In China people are slowly becoming more wealthy and they are slowly starting to do something about their problems but the thing is good things take time and problems are not just related to China or Asia.

Do you all understand that Asia includes most of of Russia, India, Japan, Korea and on and on. Russia put people in space first. China builds all the tech gadgets you use to see this site, and Japan is a model of success in almost everything. Please do not be so ignorant. China is not what you all seem to think it is...... China has problems, but so does America!

It most racial stereotypes are useless in practice, don't lump all asians together because of one or a few bad experiences. the same goes for any ethnic group, stereotypes are just simplification and justification for not wanting to think logically.

For the record I guess its wrong to say they are dumb. But they live in a society that doesn't value individuality, or independent thought, and that makes things like driving in traffic and having to make your own common sense decisions in real time difficult. People fresh from asia aren't stupid, they just grew up not used to doing anything other than following specific instructions and not thinking for themselves
