There's a girl at my school who I talked to a couple times briefly but I've been thinking about her as if I am with her since December. I'm just basically obsessed with her for no reason and sometimes I fantasize about being with her and protecting her.
It's normal when you're shy like me but don't follow the advice of those who say it's as simple as go up to her and talk. If you stammer or act shy and she happens to be the kind who's into jocks you'll get a rep and be mocked. Be very careful. I suggest you find out her type first and do the kind of activity that increases your popularity with girls in general.

Let the "jocks" think what they want, if they mock you mock them back, dont be scared of them pussys.
I was bullied in school and i wish i could go back to them days and be who i am now.
Easy to say. It's the kind of advice my parents gave me when I was bullied too. Do you think you can seriously mock a jock back when they're 6'6" tall and you are only 5'7", not muscular? Do you think your back-mocking has any weight? They only laugh even harder at your lousy attempt to "man up" Again talking out of experience here.
I also got bullied a little when i was younger dude, i know exactly what it is like.
I guess my point is that if you kick off enough it doesnt matter how much of a geek or what size you are, people are going to show some respect in future. Yea you might take a beating if you're unluckly but that makes you a man anyway. Id rarther get beat up sticking up for myself then sitting back and letting people mock me.
Like i said, i was a pussy in school and took so much shit. Thinking back to what people would say now makes my blood boil, if i could go back id be flipping desks and getting right in their faces haha.
just go for it if she's available man or u will regret it big time. even if it doesn't work out its really a lot better to have tried no matter how low the chances are. go for it if there's the tiniest chance. some people don't even get a chance due to circumstances so I say go for it of u think about her alot.
yeah its normal, especially if you dont know her. if you get to know her more it may come out that the attraction fades even. happens to me sometimes.
If your conversations went well try talking to her some more and after a couple of good converstions suggest you do something together your both interested in.
