Is it normal to that i think that children who look like my ex are extra cute?

I was with a man for two years and almost married him only to find out he was a pathological liar. I hate him and never want to see him again. With that said, I think that children that resemble him (as a child) and his niece are the cutest children on the planet. Is this normal?
