I finally told my crush I liked him. He told me that he liked me too and thought I was really cool. Then, he tells me he just wants to be friends!? That's weird right? Why would he do that?

    Might 'like' you but not in a romantic way. Time can change that just take what you get and work with it. Can't change anyone's mind yet you are able to influence them :)

    I think he honestly had no idea how to let you down easy. Thus, he told you what you wanted to hear and then what he really wanted to say. However, I don't think you should feel too bad because I bet you are a cool girl who any guy would be lucky to date.
