My neighbor had her baby in his play pen and he had duct tape on his ears. I was like wtf and she said "oh his ears kind of stick out like a monkey's so Im trying to get them to lay flat". I think this isn't exactly child abuse but NOT normal! Arent mothers supposed to think their babies are beautiful? Kid is only less than 1 year old.
Please inform that stupid bitch that her attempts are almost certainly in vain.
There is a cosmetic procedure for pinning back ears. Idk how common it is.
Hahahah, now thats just crazy! I have monkey like ears that stick out but you don't see me ductaping them down... if anything, I like to show off to people that when I pinch the tops of my ears together, they look like elf ears!

She would probably get in trouble for doing this.... If she's that bothered about it (which i personally think is disgusting that she even cares) she should seek medical advice before she gets herself in trouble.
No need for CPS. It's very strange, but I've heard of people doing this before.
Believe it or not, taping works most of the time to correct protruding ears. The ear cartilage is soft at birth and remains pliable for months, even up to 18-24 months old. HOWEVER, using duct tape is probably not the best method!!! heheh
Call CPS on her. If she's doing this over ears, imagine what she may do over any other "imperfections" this child may end up having.
you should call child protective services since that sounds painful to the baby.
