Is it normal to talk with myself the entire night instead of sleeping?

Whenever I'm about to sleep in the night I talk with myself for at least an hour or two before actually sleeping.

Do you have a conversation with yourself? Or do you “think out loud”?
The former is not normal. The latter is normal, but no one admits to doing it.

Yeah, if you talk to yourself ALL night and lose sleep from doing it, it’s not normal. You might wanna seek some therapy.

When I write down something I want to say, I cringe and look back at the writing and decide not to say it. If this “monologue” is interfering with your sleep, this could help you? I don’t know, I’m no psychologist.

For hours you say? That seems a little weird, yeah. Not extremely, but maybe watch yourself and make sure it doesn't get worse. Lol

    • I don't know, it's like a monologue, a script, I say something and then I reply, as if it was another person talking.
