Iin, to talk about my toliet experiences with family?
I know this may sound a tad strange and maybe even a little bit gross, but I somehow got into the habit of telling my mother about my exploits on the toliet. I only tell her if it is in regards to my bowel movements. I am often very constipated (I have IBS) so, I don't tell her about my exploits often.
When I go, I tell her about the whole process. If there were any smells, if it was difficult or easy, if it is strangely shaped, was messy to clean, the size, the texture. (Etc) Before going, if I get the feeling of my colon having a spasm, I'll tell her.
I've grown to enjoy telling her about the state of my bowel health. It's like a form of bonding for me now. Sometimes, I ask her about her bowel health and scold her about not using a footstool to help her go properly. She doesn't like it when I tell her about my bowels and when I ask about hers.
She used to be more concerned about my bowels when I was younger. I guess that I am trying to replicate that maternal concern. Is this normal?
