My dad always told me that men do not get abused. Plain and simple. The first (and thankfully the last) time I went to the hospital for broken bones and severe bruising, my dad told me that I was weak for not defending myself. That I wouldnt be in the hospital if I had my ex what he wanted and not whined like a little baby. IIN?
Who beat you up: your dad, your ex or someone else? Are you make or female? That much is not even clear.
I don't understand the question either: for a start, isn't there something missing between "if I had" and "my ex"? Probably the word "given" but what was it he wanted your dad thought you should give?
