Is it normal to still wonder if my guy (straight) friend liked me?

Back in hs we were close our freshman year but drifted apart. He became popular and I made random friends here and there. We'd come across eachother every now and then but weren't the same. At lunch he'd always troll me by doing obviously gay stuff like putting his hands on my shoulders to try to make me feel uncomfortable in front of guy friends. And we were once sitting alone at a friend's house and he jokingly grabbed his crotch. Also, this one time at my house he laid on my bed but wanted to leave once my other friend left because he thought we'd do something. I don't even know why that would cross his mind. Another day he sat next me in class and went to sleep at the desk placed with mine, and this was when we weren't friends anymore. We hung out with mutual friends, and he moved to a seat next to me because he was allegedly scared of the movie. We shared the arm rest, our forearms touched but we didn't move. Recently I saw him at an after hour spot, I was drunk and hugged him. He has kids now. idk.

None of the things you list strike me as very odd. It's possible that he had a thing for you and hormones go every which way when you're a teenager, but I don't see any real evidence here.
I put my arm on my guy friends fairly often, make sexual indications and sometimes call them pet names. It's fun. Normal bromance stuff.
