Is it normal to sprinkle powder in my coffee?

I drink international suiss mocha coffee and when I'm done putting in 3-4 teaspoons, I like to sprinkle a little extra of the suiss mocha mix onto the top.

    Why not?
    I'm not at all a coffee drinker, but I do it with other drink mixes. I love there to be some texture, not just 100% mixed in.
