Is it normal to sneak a pic of hot boys in public & post on fb? #boystalking

I've been taking boy stalking (the name I gave it) pics for about two years now, and thankfully I have never ever been caught. And although it is perfectly legal to take pictures of anyone out in public, it would be very awkward to get caught. LOL

I wish girls would secretly take my pic. I'd be flattered.

Would you find it creepy if a boy took pictures of you to post online with your knowledge?

Taking a picture of someone is not rape. Jesus how stupid can people be. Gay men always want to see/photograph my butt. I'm happy to oblige.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • I find this funny. I am a guy and If I posted this same exact story except as a guy taking pictures of random butt sluts a lot more people would be outraged. If a girl does it however that is just fine a dandy. I still like butt sluts though.

No, I think it's wrong and creepy either way but I see your point.

You know this is illegal right and if they find out they can sue you? I would defiantly take the chance to sue you and possibly hurt you. You can not legally post someones picture online without permission since its a violation of privacy and you are using that persons likeness without permission.

If it was me I would hate people figuring out what I looked like and would quickly try to figure out who is posting them so I could get that person arrested and my pictures pulled. Unless of course I was like in a cosplay or something and in that instance wanted somebody to take pictures. I really would not care if someone did that since in that instance I was purposely showing off my costume.

However people just taking pictures of me walking around with a camera and doing random stuff is creepy. I go out of my way to keep my picture offline. In fact I don't even have my real photo on Facebook. So yes I would be very bothered if someone was putting my photos online. I don't want me on the internet! WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!

I like being anonymous online. I don't want to connect the internet to real life. That would be a horrible result. Not that anyone would be able to connect the real me to any of my internet history since everything I do online is fabricated bull shit. I do tend to take on personas I have something in common with though. I am never these characters though.

It's not illegal to take pictures of people in public. You do not have an expectation of privacy in public.

no I did not say that. I said that its illegal to take someones picture and put it online for everyone to see WITHOUT consent from that person. Please pay attention. Also yes that IS ILLEGAL! This law goes for all people! You can not put someone online without consent. Otherwise they can sue you. This goes for pictures, movies anything. If you have no consent its illegal.

It's perfectly legal, actually. Show me the law against it.

facebook is legal since those people are sharing there own pictures. You are not stalking people and saying "Going to post your picture all over the internet" its you posting yourself. If you post someone else you have to ask permission. You might be upset that's the rule but it is. Also if a newspaper interviews you like for a sport article generally you are giving them permission to post you. I guess you cant read though and missed the part where it said that. You might think its cute to do this without permission but its against the law. You can not post another persons likeness without consent.

Most people on facebook have pictures of themselves with others and pictures taken in public that happen to show other people. Newspapers take pictures in public such as sporting events, concerts and festivals. Permission is not needed to publish the photos taken legally in public.

It's not illegal, bro. Like I said. Show me the law.

There's software that lets you hide photos inside photos. I forget what it's called. It's a fun way to swap self nudes with your girlfriend on FB, in front of your families and the world.

This is not Twitter, it's Is It Normal. A place where hash tags are meaningless. If you want to tags something stick it In the "tag" box when you post a story.

Stalking is never normal. I don't like how you seem to be making light of a serious invasion of privacy which is deemed illegal. You didn't ask for their consent so, you don't have the right to do this. It's like when pervert men take photos of girl's underpants (right up the skirt!).

I have a friend who did something like this. She would take pictures of people at the city pool and post them on Facebook making fun of them. Like, there was a little kid with a mohawk that she took a picture of. It is creepy though, as well as awkward if anyone who sees the pictures happens to know the people in them. It's a small world, you never know who knows who. Know what I'm saying?

    Also, #HashtagsDontWorkOnThisWebsite #lol

A girl took a picture of me in queue for a ride at a theme park. She kinda held the camera up and did a silly awkward jump and pretended the flash didn't go off... it was weird.

Make sure you don't get caught taking pictures of boys if you're 18, that could be statutory rape depending on how it's perceived.
