Is it normal to smell the food before you eat it?

Yes. I do this sometimes with food I've never eaten before. Some foods smell better than they taste and vice versa.

I do that all the time, its a habit of mine.

Pretty normal considering your nose is right above your mouth. Seems like it would be more difficult to not smell it, but whatever, another mundane post about nothing important or even interesting.
