Is it normal to see colors around people?

I sometimes see colors around people. My mother said I've always seen auras. Sometimes they are orange and can vary. It can be faded and sometimes strong. I don't know if it's a vision problem or auras. I just know that I see them around everyone and if I really focus I can see more then one color. (not on any drug or whatever)
