Is it normal to search "how to make a guy miss you"?

Bit of context: a new friend of mine lent me her phone to do a quick Google search (mine was out of battery), after I typed "H" for "Hoyts", "How to make a guy miss you" popped up as a previous search.

Am I jumping to conclusions by assuming this girl has manipulative tendencies - or is this just an effect of having a long-distance crush?

    It's probably relatively normal to search for that sort of bullshit, but it's really bad for her. Your friend may have some or even strong manipulative tendencies. I would see this as a bit of a blessing, because you've had a bit of a glimpse into her deeper inner world. I wouldn't use the information against her per se, but rather I would file it away in that big database in your head. Just be aware that she might be a manipulative and or needy person.

      I don't count myself as manipulative 0.o At least not much but Since I'm the clingy/needy type I sometimes force myself to withdraw SOME and not ALWAYS text first/reply one second after I got a reply.

        I can understand. I've been struggling with some reclusive tendencies for about a year now. I don't like to look or feel vulnerable, but I can be quite prone to emotional hangovers, and social sunburns.
