Is it normal to regret not having pictures of people?

I remember going to a Harry Potter themed event with a friend of mine and she looked ADORABLE wearing the sorting hat prop they had! I really regret not taking a picture of her in it, but it’s been so long since I’ve seen this girl that it would seem to weird to tell her about it now.

This is why I constantly take photos (sometimes unbeknownst to them) of my friends and relatives. They complain bitterly but give it a few years and they get all nostalgic over the memories.

I went on a cruise several years ago, and there was a picture of my family where I looked really good, but my mom chose a different photo instead. I don't know why I didn't just buy it myself.
    It really bugs me sometimes.

I don’t, but I lack sentimentality to the point that it has been pointed out by others in life as being not normal.
