Is it normal to really really really love the idea of gender neutrality?

Yeah, I kinda make characters for short stories and comicy things and whatnot, and often when I get a good idea for a character, I have everything - name, backstory, powers, personality....everything, except gender.

i dont know, i just love both aspects too much. My characters arent involved in anything sexual so you would think their gender doesnt matter but, i dont know, it does to me for some reason.

And i keep trying to come up with possible ideas or reasons for a totally single-sexed race and, I can think of nothing. Maybe I'm not thinking outside of the box hard enough - they dont necessarily have to be human... well there i go i just solved my own problem.

Anyways, that aside - I can't explain it but I just reaaaally like the whole concept of there being a third gender, one neither male nor female. I don't like this in a sexual way (I am asexual) I am just drawn to the idea, for some strange, odd reason.

And no, I'm really not into the whole genderfluid and genderqueer thing. At least what tumblr's made of it, anyways. God that site could ruin my own shit if I reblogged it enough.

I dunno. is it normal to really like the concept THAT much?

      I'm talking about a fictional "what if" thing. I love men and women but I think having something that was neither would be awesome.
