Is it normal to question everything people around you whiningly follow?

Being paranoid about 'The men behind the curtain' or that 1% of the world's population that owns 90% of the world's wealth - IS IT NORMAL? Questioning institutions that hold a significant place in society - an element of human nature, youthful tendency to rebel or habits picked up at any point in life?

I'd say it's a very boring (to us adults) youthful tendency to rebel but it depends when you question...

    1. If listening to a lecture at school - keep your mouth shut, listen and learn. It is extremely unfair for some mouthpiece to destroy other people's opportunity to learn. You may ask questions, as to why, at the end.

    2. Do your research to rebel in your free time or join groups of other like-minded people eg Greenpeace, Anti-Slavery groups, or lobby your government.....

It may be good that you care about these things but as you grow up with other responsibilities - job, children, mortgage, etc you get tired of trying to buck the system.

Good luck but keep it in context.

Healthy yes we should always question the world we live in if not there will always exist those who will think about ways of keeping control over others ex: if none questioned slavery it would still be NORMAL so yeah question learn observe but don't get paranoid about it

Yes, it is normal. It is how the world works. The 1% have forgotten that we live in a world of finite resources. It is out of balance and the ride back to center is going to be bumpy. It is not a youthful rebellion. It is a global awakening.

Wise words. Your acquaintances should envy how open your eyes are.

Thank you, but I don't want envy. I only want to help others open their own eyes.
