Is it normal to put weed in my c-pap machine?

I have sleep apnea and sleep with a machine. Recently I got the idea to put weed on the metallic burner that heats up the water tank and connect a hose to the air intake filter. I havent tried it yet, but think I will next time I have weed. i will let you know how it goes.

    How does this machine work exactly?. Is putting a solid inside going to break it?. If it works anything like a vaporizer you should be ok. If not I wouldn't risk it. Sleep apnea can be fatal.

      It works by a vacuum like suction that sucks air into a water chamber that is heated up somewhat like a bong and the purified air goes through a tube connected to the mask.
