Is it normal to put my skin flakes in a pile to see how bad my psoriasis is?

I have psoriasis on my scalp. If I think it is getting worse, I put my flakes in a pile to see how bad I am flaking. I have to pull off some too.

    Weirdly, I've spent much of the last year of my life studying psoriasis. I don't know what country you live in but do you have a consultant dermatologist and do they administer QoL tests?
