I am going to a model casting tomorrow, it's one of those I have to do it now or I will never get the chance, I'm kinda late to the party seeing as I am 22 and in the modelling industry at 22 you're basically a fossil but modeling has always been a dream of mine & I am going for it. My questions for you are:

1) At 22 years old is it normal to be pursuing modelling now
2) Do you think someone with 40inch hips and a 24inch waist can be a model, am I fat?

I can already sense some yawning after reading this post but please help a girl out.

      Thanks for that attempt at an insult/smart ass comment or whatever but I am investing in my brain actually, I am a grad student in business. I just felt inclined to divulge that in defense of my brain. Now go be an arsehole somewhere else.

        Modelling can be good and bad depending on weather you look like a hore while doing it or not although most modelling is demoralising to women as they dress like scantily clad sex objects. But if that's your dream do it and being 22 and your measurement (without seeing an actual picture) would be a good change to the jail bait annerexit models we normally see

    You sound attractive and smart. I believe you will do well no matter what you choose. And 22 is not too old to start modelling especially for you.

    It doesn't matter what we think in this case, we're not the modeling agents. Honestly just go in there and be confident. If they don't like your look then go to other modeling agencies, keep trying until one of them gives you a shot.

    Even if it fails, at least you tried to chase your dreams, most people wouldn't even take that step.

    Hey! I feel the same way! Modeling is my dream it's what I need to do yet I'm 21! I'm so happy your going for it! I'm stuck I kansas so I hardly have any luck but I'm going to be positive and not give up! Know why? Because you can't give up on your dreams it's your life what of you miss out on what would have made you so so happy? It's better to try and fail then not try at all! I'm so happy you have a chance to try if I was in your shoes I would kick everyone's ass tomorrow and blow them away because i know I'm special, know that your special too. Now you listen here by you posting this gives me courage to strive because I'm only a year younger so you wake up tomorrow get in a positive mood don't you dare doubt yourself once! You know you can do it so go and make it happen!!! I'm serious too damnit I'm not just trying to be nice you go and do this! If this is your dream as much as it is mine I know you'll blow them away! I don't even know what you look like but it doesn't matter because it's how confident you feel and that comes from positivity! I'm sending positive vibes your way

    No your not too old because I'm trying to get the fuck out of Kansas to chase my dream and I won't stop trying until I've been denied MULTIPLE times!

        Haha yeah I wish they were bigger :/ I think more curve the better! The more woman to figure!;) no problem!
