Is it normal to post only to delete every response

There is someone presently posting on here and they delete every single response they get. IIN? Would you like to see this stopped? Should this be reported?
It makes it pointless to respond to posts if every response is deleted.

Maybe, that OP gets a "rise" out of deleting comments for the heck of it. Or, maybe, that OP is the type of person who can't handle truth. The type of person wants everyone to kiss their ass. We give him/her the truth and OP can't handle it.

  • But this jack ass deletes ALL comments. Why bother to post?

I've noticed that some of the newer users have been deleting users comments because:
      A) It's not the answer THEY wanted to hear
      B) They were butthurt by a blunt, non sugar coated, non Pc answer.
      C) They're holding a grudge against a user because of reasons A and B.

I swear some of them are so overly sensitive over nothing. It makes me wonder if they're underage children.

I think when someone deletes a comment, it should be deleted only for them. Not for all the other users. And another feature that should be implemented is for users to have the option to block other users so they can't see their answers, if it bothers them so much. Bans aren't needed. If you don't like other people's content, you should be able to make what they post invisible for you.

Ppl always complain about this. Like if you offer someone a piece of shit - its going to be rejected
I wrote a post once about smoking weed with friends n someone responds with "dont spend your parents money"
I told them I run my own business lool n dont even live w/ my parents.
Of course their response was "You cant handle opinions blah blah...." but the point is - if its not really relevant - DELETE.
Especially as it uses up space which could be occupied by useful comments.

I agree, this is extremely annoying, especially if someone deletes my comment which I think could have posed an alternate view for others to consider. The whole point of allowing comments is to view a range of opinions!

  • I haven't seen this happening. I have recently noticed that sometimes when someone responds to me and I click on the notification, the post is gone or there is no response, so either they have deleted their response or the OP has deleted their response...But honestly I think it couldn't be the OP because the second I get a response sometimes and I click on the notification as soon as it comes up, it's gone, which makes me think someone is responding and then immediatly deleting their comment. Which makes no sense, but whatever to them. Lol.

I've seen Dumbellle reply to you once with a long ass comments of about a million words. 1 minute later the comment was gone. I don't think she deleted it herself because it would be ridiculous to write such a long comment just to remove it. So i guess the OP deleted it. Either way it was pretty funny to see someone put so much thoughts together in a comment, only to have the OP deleting it Lmao. She was pretty pissed! Both in her comment to you and in her argument she had with OP afterwards.

      • Well honestly, I don't support that. If someone put so much time in to a response I would prefer it to stay up. If it was nothing but her being insulting and not offering any points to what I or the OP said, then I can understand them deleting it but only if that. I like to read what people respond to me with and if someone is deleting comments to me, that is taking away from me reading it. :/
