          No, that makes me think something different. I don't often hear the term poaching associated with trees. That's all.

    Can you steal a tree from a public place???

    I have always bought them from a farm.
    But I dont think you can steal it from a public place...like if I found a rock in the woods and took it home...you just took home a tree. I couldn't imagine sitting in jail for that.

    Btw I thought cooking too lol

    Years ago i stole about 10-20 potted christmas trees from the front of the store and planted them in my yard.

    I actually did that once back in '07 and some chick with a paintball gun chased me all the way back to my truck. She was shouting something about vigilante justice for the environment or some crap. I was able to outrun her because she was twice my weight and really slow. I don't know what she was trying to prove because in the end, she stopped nothing and I still got the free tree I wanted.
