    I would rather be with a girl I could share my interests and hobbies with. Otherwise what would be the point?

    That's kind of refreshing to hear. A lot of guys that love video games go nuts over girls that play them too. I grew up watching my brother play video games and didn't really play them much myself because I'm terrible at them, but I enjoyed watching. And now I'm perfectly content watching my boyfriend play vidro games and keeping up with story lines and the action without directly participating. I hate when guys that play video games think they like, NEED a "gamer" girlfriend.

    The poster never specified what type of games he meant for all we know he could mean mental games or Parcheesi. Either way, its very weird that you wont want a s person with similar interests. That's kind of like, "I want to be a cheater, but I want a girl who wont cheat"...tsk tsk.

      Nah it's not that I don't want a peron with similar interests like I want them to like the same music,films as me if possible, but I'ld prefer to have a girlfriend not interested in games.

    I want a girl that understands & takes an interest or even participates in my interests & hobbies but at the same time realizes that at times those hobbies need to be my escape & used for time apart.

    Basically I want her interested but not as much as I am

    Plenty of people are enthusiastic about their hobbies, but don't find it attractive if a potential partner shares that hobby. It's completely normal
