Is it normal to only hear national anthems

Is it normal to only hear national anthems? I mean I don't find those famous normal music good. Only national anthems of various countries capture my attention. I think they are the best and make the most sense. Maybe because I am a country person (patriot) myself. I work for my country.

Didn't think it would be worth mentioning, but i also hear SOME patriotic songs, e.g rule Britannia. But not all normal songs. I hear all national anthems.

I dont like the US national anthem its too cheesy. The US national anthem should be more epic and powerful. I havent really ever heard a good national anthem now that I think about it.

    • No the US anthem is so beautiful. It expresses everything through its flag. Talks about the flag the whole time and tells everything.

First praises the flag. Tell, do you remember what so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming? We hailed the flag. That symbol of our freedom and independence. The rockets and bombs bursting in air gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. The war was still going on and we didn't lose and there was still hope. Now tell does that star spangled banner still wave over the land of the free and the home of the brave? Asking are the people still as free as they wanted to be after the war? A reminder to make sure America remains the land of the free.
