Is it normal to only have been attracted to one person in your life?

I am 26 and only ever felt like having sex with 1 person. I am only aroused by a strong emotional connection. The worst thing is that I don't know if a relationship with them would work out in the long run, but I want them so badly because of that feeling (not just arousal, but emotional connection that lead to it).
