Is it normal to obsess over a past user of iin

I've been reading through old posts on here and there is a user who no longer posts that I really wish I'd had a chance to talk with. We had a lot in common it seems.

When I say obsess I mean just reading through her posts and identifying with her and what she was going through. I also love her attitude and responses to people. She seemed like a strong person but it looks like she ultimately went crazy or killed herself.

is it normal I want to find this person, talk to them and find out what happened or am I just a huge loser.

    Reminiscing is ok as is wondering who/where/what are they now but try to move on to pastures new .

      I hadn't even joined when they were here. I just like her posts and I am kind of intrigued by where she went. As I said it looks like she just disappeared amid a bunch of weirdness, ie went crazy, or heaven forbid, suicide.

      Yes I pretty much spend my entirw life alone except when I have to converse at work.

      I have no friends, family or acquaintances. I can't even make any online friendships despite my best efforts.

      The person I am talking about is really the only poster on here I can relate to and it seems she went insane or killed herself, so what does that say about me??

      Also it seems from the threads I've read that pretty much everyone on here hated her or thought she was fake.

      I am really starting to doubt my own sanity at this point.
